I too haven't had baco...Another great post Siobhan. I too haven't had bacon for over a decade now, can't say I miss it at all. There are so many other things to eat that don't result in factory farms or environmental or ethical dilemmas. I recently read Michael Pollan's book "The Omnivores Dilemma", and while it doesn't advocate for vegetarianism per se, it points out the problems with not eating locally or sustainably.
